News from the Now Former CEP Editor
This is a year of transition at Contemporary Economic Policy!
Since the journal was established in 1983 by the Western Economic Association International and Founding Editor Eldon Dvorak, the editorship has always been at California State University, Long Beach. In July of this year, the editorship will move to the University of Alberta with Brad Humphreys taking over as editor. Brad is putting together an impressive team of co-editors that will be announced at the WEAI meetings in San Diego the end of June.
The current editorial team will continue to handle submission until the conference and will then follow their progress to the final decision and publication.
It has been a joy and a challenge editing CEP and following the high standards set by Eldon and Darwin Hall. I am sure that Brad will continue to provide the leadership necessary to move the journal forward and reach new heights in the coming years.
All of us on the current editorial team wish Brad and the new team the best and thank you all for your contributions to CEP – keep the manuscripts coming!
